Vending machine innovation is a land of mystery – you never know how the project will end, but the following five solutions are awesome & makes me smile!
Hug Me – Coca Cola
The Coca-Cola Company and Ogilvy & Mather have created the ‘Cola-Cola Hug Machine’ to bring doses of happiness into the lives of people anywhere and everywhere. This regional initiative, which is part of “Open Happiness”, The Coca-Cola Company’s global marketing campaign, started in Singapore.
100 BC Moments - Tourism British Columbia
Overnight, Tourism British Columbia flipped the switch on the BC Moments Machine — a one of a kind, 14-foot tall, 10-foot wide vending machine. Forget pop and chips though — the BC Moments Machine offered items like mountain bikes, kayaks and made in BC surfboards.

Rugbeer – Cerveza Salta

Limon Y Nada – Coca Cola
The Coca-Cola-owned brand, with agency Momentum, Madrid, set up 18 vending machines in water and theme parks across Spain that will sell Limon Y Nada for less as the temperature heats up. So when it’s 25 degrees, a bottle of the non-fizzy lemon drink will set you back 2 euros, but when the temperature rises past 26 degrees, it will cost 1.40 euros and then 1 euro when the sun is scorching at more than 30 degrees.
